Obituary for Rev. James Wendell Trabue

Reverend James W. Trabue was born March 9, 1939 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Aubrey Wendell and Lucy Mabel Trabue. He went home to be with his Heavenly Father on June 22, 2020.
He accepted Christ at an early age and as an ordained minister, pastored several churches in the Louisville area. He was a loyal and diligent member of Walnut Street Baptist Church where Reverend Mark Williams is the pastor.
He graduated from Central High School where he played football and excelled in the field of carpentry. He retired from the University of Louisville as an interior painter.
Rev. Trabue was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joyce Starks Trabue; second wife, Josephine Caudill Trabue; son, Bryan Douglas Trabue; brother, Michael Rodney Trabue.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories; children, Rodney Trabue, Mark Trabue, Todd Trabue (Andrea), Michelle Trabue, Christine Brown (Nathaniel), Eric Lewis; siblings, Glendora Young, Audrey Williams (Lawrence), John F. Trabue (Quida), Jacqueline A. Trabue, ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

Private memorial and burial will be held Friday July 3, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Green Meadows Cemetery, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY 40216
