Obituary for Pauline L. Graham

Pauline L. Graham, was born on January 17, 1922 to the union of the late Albert Freeman and Annie Simmons Freeman in Houlka, Mississippi. She was called to be with the Lord on April 6, 2020.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late George Lee Graham on January 5, 1947. To this union two sons and a daughter were born; Johnnie, Larry and Barbara.

Pauline confessed a hope in Christ at an early age in Mississippi. After moving to Louisville, KY, she became an active member of First Virginia Avenue Baptist Church and later became an organizing member of Greater Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. She faithfully attended mid-week prayer service and was a loyal member of the Disciples of Christ Sunday school class. She served as Secretary of the Sunday School Department; Secretary/Treasurer of the Tabernacle Choir and Secretary of the Missionary Department.

She later became a charter member of Temple of Faith Baptist Church. One of her favorite verse in the bible was Isaiah 41:10. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Pauline was a devoted wife and mother, one who always put the interests of her family first, who saw to it that her children were given the best she could provide, in loving care, spiritual nourishment and material comforts. The example she lived day by day will ever be a goal for her family to strive to reach

She was preceded in death by her husband George and sons, Johnnie and Larry.

Pauline leaves to cherish her sweet memories, daughter, Barbara; step-daughter, Grace; grandchildren, Montez Sr., Brenda, Evelyn, Derek; great-grandchildren, Aryeon, Chantz, Montez, Jr., Amirah; nieces, Margie Holt, Bernice Kent and host of other relatives, friends and church family.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceedingly joy. To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen
Jude 1: 25-25
